Definition of Winter Type with Olive Oil

This definition is adapted from my grandmother’s similar definition and I personally love the fact that these winter vegetables meet with olive oil 🙂 It is a complete alternative for those who prefer olive oil rather than meat and ground beef dishes, and it is very easy to cook for those with limited time 🙂

We slice the carrots round. Even though the potatoes and celery are not too small, we cut them in cubes. (If you chop the celery immediately before adding it to the pot, they won’t darken.) We cut the leeks with two fingers wide. We also chop the onions in half a month. We pour olive oil into the pot and add carrots, potatoes, celery, leeks and onions respectively. After mixing the tomato sauce with hot water and spices, we move it over the vegetables. We keep the vegetables on low heat until the vegetables are cooked. If the water decreases, you can add water in between. After cooking, we rest for at least 15 minutes with the lid of the pot covered. Then we serve when it is hot or when it is cold or cold. I also squeeze lemon during service, I recommend it to those who love it. Bon appetit to everyone 🙂
