Materials for the Definition of Leek with Olive Oil

  • 500 grams of leeks
  • 2 medium carrots
  • 1 teaspoon of granulated sugar

  • Half a glass of olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons of rice
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
  • Half a glass of water
  • 1 teaspoon of lemon juice

Definition of Leek with Olive Oil

Wash and peel the carrots. After cleaning and washing the leek, chop it. Take the olive oil in the pan and heat it and fry the carrots for 1 minute. Let’s add the leeks to the carrots and cook for another minute. Let’s add salt, sugar, water, orange juice and rice. Add 1 teaspoon of lemon juice, close the lid of the pot and boil over medium heat until boiling, then cook for 20 minutes on low heat. You can serve hot or warm. Bon Appetit.
